The embrace of technology ,virtual space in our everyday life is influencing and supporting our perception of reality .This series of computer collages and photo transformation are blurring simulations of garment details with photographs of hand crafted tailored pieces and fragments.The emphasis is on proportion and scale of details.Crochet and lace fragments are scaled up to direct the focus on handcraft ; doll-size shapes are draped and photographed on a miniature tailoring dummy .Polyester sample prints are draped and cut into shape to simulate the design. The computer collage process is deliberately kept visible to reveal the process rather than presenting the perfect illusion.
